Bobbie left her son's home for a walk after a day of golfing, on the evening of May 1st, 2022. She suffers from Alzheimer's Disease but is friendly, intelligent and approachable. She may not realize she is lost. If you see her, please make contact and DO NOT LEAVE HER. Call 911.

Timeline of Events
Monday May 1, 2022
- Evening: Bobbie left on foot from her son's home located near 31st Way & East Caldwell near South Mountain, Phoenix.
- 6:45pm: Javelina Trailhead at South Mountain Sighting (Thought to be a confirmed sighting based on interaction.)
Thursday, May 5, 2022
- 7:00am East of South Mountain in the Quail Landings neighborhood. A K9 followed up and picked up her scent in the same area but she was not located.
Saturday, May 7, 2022 (Sighting Eliminated)
- 7:00pm McDonald's Baseline and Priest Road A potential interaction has been reported. This sighting was previously thought to have taken place on May 8th. Police were unable to confirm with video footage. This person was identified as NOT being Bobbie after family reviewed the video.
Various Days and Times: Potential sightings in the area near Arizona Mills Mall and eastward on Baseline. None have been able to be confirmed.
Monday, May 16, 2022
- 2:00pm Chipotle Baseline and Rural Road. A potential sighting has been reported. Video from the restaurant was not able to identify clearly enough to confirm or eliminate this sighting.
Sunday, May 22, 2022 (Sighting Eliminated)
- 11:00am YMCA South Desert Foothills and Liberty. A potential sighting reported of a person matching Bobbie's description walking with a limp, wearing a white top and black shorts. Volunteers searched the area but the person of interest was not located. This person was identified as NOT being Bobbie after family reviewed the video.
About Bobbie:
- Age: 80 years
- Height: 5'6"
- Weight: 160 lbs.
- Hair: Brown
- Eyes: Green
- Last Wearing: White/Black athletic top with Cheetah type or similar golf shirt, black or dark pants or shorts, and white golf shoes. NOTE: With Bobbie missing this long it is very possible her clothes have changed during this time.
How You Can Help
Flyer Distribution
Volunteer to distribute flyers in the focus area. Ask restaurants and businesses to display her flyer in their window, hang in public areas. Areas that could give Bobbie shelter from the heat like parks and shady areas are important places to cover. Get together a group of friends, church community, scouting organization etc and hand out quarter page handouts to customers in parking lots of grocery/big box stores or Arizona Mills Mall. It only takes one person to recognize her to bring her home safely.
Display Flyers
Display flyers at your place of employment, church, gym and anywhere you can think of, no matter what part of town you live, work and socialize in. Tape flyers to the windows of your vehicle and spread awareness as you go about your daily travels.
Canvas Neighborhoods and Hiking Trails
By car, bicycle or on foot travel through the targeted neighborhoods or trails looking for Roberta and engaging with people to raise awareness that we are looking for her.
Phone Call Bank Volunteer
Want to help but unable to canvas or distribute flyers? The missing person campaign is looking for more volunteers to work the phone bank. Volunteers work from home and at their convenience with a provided script and contact list. Fill out the volunteer form to get started.
Do you drive for LYFT? UBER? POST MATES? AMAZON? PIZZA DELIVERY? ETC?
Can you print out a couple full size flyers and display on or inside your vehicle? Can you print out some quarter page handouts and include with your deliveries?
