In March of this year, she moved back to Auburndale to move in with her now fiancee' Russell Carrol. Tonya's favorite color is purple and she adores her four-legged babies.

The boyfriend of missing Auburndale woman, Tonya Whipp, has been arrested, but no charges have been filed directly relating to her disappearance. According to the Auburndale Police Department, Russell Carroll unlawfully accessed Whipp’s financial accounts and redirected money to himself several times.
The Auburndale Police Department’s missing persons investigation concluded that Whipp is dead and that her body was never recovered. Carroll is now considered “the only suspect in the homicide investigation.
Auburndale police executed a search warrant Saturday at the home of Russell Carroll, who officials say was the boyfriend of Tonya Whipp.
Whipp is presumed dead by police and was reported missing last June.
Two months ago, Tonya Whipp vanished — her purse, belongings and beloved dog all left at home. Her boyfriend says she wanted space, but her family says that doesn't add up.
“We have enough CONFIRMED (as opposed to speculation) information we are upgrading Tonya to missing endangered,” Auburndale Police Chief Terry Storie said to 8 On Your Side.

A search at an Auburndale property ended without finding Tonya Whipp, however, police said any evidence recovered during the search will be sent to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement crime lab.
