Matthew McDonald last had contact with his family on March 7th, 2023, in Washington County, Pennsylvania. Two days later, on March 9th, he reportedly finished work at a job site in California, PA, and was picked up by his girlfriend. She told authorities she drove him to the area of a job site at Howe Cemetery in Coal Center, PA, but said that when she returned to get him, he was gone. Since that time, no one has seen or heard from Matthew. It remains uncertain whether his disappearance was the result of foul play, an accident, or a voluntary act.

The family, in partnership with Missing In America Network, continue to raise awareness, distribute flyers, and collect tips to aid in locating Matthew.
His Sister, Sam, has been relentlessly advocating for Matthew every single day, refusing to let his name fade, his story go unheard, or his absence be accepted. A sister’s love does not give up; it searches, it speaks, it fights, and it hopes, even on the hardest days.
