Hollynn Snapp

Kingsport resident Hollynn Snapp was 19 years old when she disappeared in October 2023. Hollynn has not been seen or heard from since, and her sudden disappearance is considered highly suspicious.

Call MIA TIPLINE NOW

Three years. Endless questions. Countless prayers. Hollynn Snapp is more than a missing person—she is a daughter, a loved one, and a life that matters. Until she is found, we will continue to speak her name and seek the truth.

Case Details

Hollynn Snapp was 19 years old when she disappeared from Kingsport, Tennessee, under circumstances that both investigators and her family consider suspicious.

While some reports identify October 5, 2023, as Hollynn’s last confirmed contact with her family, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) lists her as last seen on October 15, 2023, in the Bell Ridge Drive area of Kingsport. On October 26, 2023, the TBI issued an Endangered Young Adult Alert under the Holly Bobo Act at the request of the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office.  Hollynn remains missing.

BACKGROUND

According to her family, Hollynn was a trusting young woman who lived with developmental challenges. They have shared that she functioned at approximately the level of a young child, making her especially vulnerable to manipulation and exploitation.

In the months leading up to her disappearance, Hollynn struggled with addiction. Despite those challenges, she remained in regular contact with her family, making her sudden silence highly unusual and deeply concerning.

EVENTS LEADING UP TO HER DISAPPEARANCE

Family members say Hollynn had been staying at or visiting a residence on Bell Ridge Drive in Kingsport and was reportedly in the company of a 52-year-old man.

According to family members and advocacy organizations, multiple witnesses reported seeing Hollynn physically assaulted in the days before she disappeared. Since then, she has not been seen or heard from again.

The family has publicly stated they believe the man was the last known person to see Hollynn alive. They have also said he provided differing accounts of what happened afterward, including claiming Hollynn left with unidentified individuals in a red pickup truck. Those statements have not been publicly verified by law enforcement, and no one has been charged in connection with Hollynn’s disappearance.

INVESTIGATION

The Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office is the lead investigative agency, with assistance from the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.

Authorities have questioned the man who was reportedly last seen with Hollynn, and he has since been arrested on unrelated charges. However, investigators have not announced any criminal charges related to Hollynn’s disappearance.

Her family continues to advocate for answers and has expressed frustration over the lack of progress in the investigation.

CONNECTION TO LAYLA SANTANELLO

Because Hollynn disappeared only a few months after Layla Santanello and the two women reportedly shared some acquaintances and social circles, many have questioned whether the cases could be connected.

However, the Kingsport Police Department has publicly stated that investigators have found no evidence linking Hollynn Snapp’s disappearance to Layla Santanello’s case.

CURRENT STATUS

Hollynn Snapp remains missing, and her disappearance continues to be treated as suspicious.  Her family has never stopped searching for answers. Through interviews, podcasts, social media, vigils, and community awareness campaigns, they continue asking anyone with information to come forward.

If you have information that could help investigators locate Hollynn or determine what happened to her, please contact the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office or the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation. You can also submit an anonymous tip through the Missing In America Network. No piece of information is too small, it could be the key to bringing Hollynn home and providing her family with the answers they have been seeking.
